Chula started as a nickname and grew into something bigger: a surf-inspired clothing brand built around comfort, creativity, and everyday coastal style. The word "Chula" means cute girl or cool girl in Spanish. Our brand is inspired by years of surfing at the Jersey Shore and brought to life after a summer trip to Ericeira, Portugal. The brand is rooted in the sun, salt air, movement, and the feeling of effortless days by the ocean.
Our pieces are designed to feel easy, clean, and effortless. The kind of clothing you throw on after the beach, for a coffee run, or wherever the day takes you. Chula is about creating a feeling and building a community around the surf-inspired lifestyle that started it all.
